The Prince Rupert, Stodman Street, Newark.

Why go?
If you like a Sunday roast then this is one of the best Newark has to offer. I had a mixed meat roast - belly pork being the highlight for me. I eat a roast almost every Sunday and this one has my approval for sure.

What to expect
A proper traditional pub with bags of charm and character, serving top-tier pub food made with local, seasonal produce. The building itself dates back to 1452, so if you've never been, it's well worth a visit for its amazing history alone.
